Our distillery, located in Pottstown, PA, is situated along the Manatawny Creek. The name Manatawny originates from the Lenape tribe's Man'en'tau'wata'wik, meaning 'the place we meet to drink'. Manatawny Still Works has a history of holding animal rescue-related fundraisers. Our charitable work began in 2014 after master distiller, Max Pfeffer, rescued a pit bull he named Piper. To help other dogs like Piper, the company created The Piper Project, through which a portion of proceeds from the sale of our wheat vodka benefits local rescue organizations. You'll find us at the market on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month! |
